                      Childrens' Care which is the agency through whom we adopted our three daughters. International Childrens' Care has family based orphanages in many third world countries. Some of these children have been available for adoption and some have remained in permanent foster care with their educational as well as emotional, physical and spiritual needs met. These children are given the opportunity to rise above the poverty they came from and live happy and productive lives. The cards themselves show sketches of young children and dogs or puppies in whimsical poses. Most of the pets on the cards are drawn from canines posted on the Petfinder website. Petfinder is dedicated to helping unwanted animals find a permanent loving home. We'd encourage you to look for your next pet at Petfinder.

Each individual card is dressed up with a bit of glitter or sequins, feathers, ribbons or such, & also embossed, or with filligree type cutouts or in some manner enhanced from just the drawing itself. Please note that the individual dressing up may vary from individual card to card even of the same child. The cards are approximately 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Oh, of course an envelope appropriately sized comes with each card.

Or you can make up a packet of 5 cards (packet make-up your choice) for $16.00. You can also see an enlarged photo of the sketch by clicking on the drawing itself.

You might wish to have a card made to order. If so, send an uncopyrighted photo of the child(ren) you wish pictured, and also the dog (or tell me the dog breed and coloring) along with a verbal description of what you would like. The cost will be $25.00 and includes a 8" x 10" finished sketch plus 2 enhanced cards & envelopes for you to use.
